Rahul Gandhi lashes out at non-Congress rule in U.P for its pathetic conditions


Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi who had led the Congress campaign in Uttar Pradesh had addressed various public rallies and Congress meetings in the state to boost the morale of the Congress workers. Under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, Congress is expecting a better performance in the state. Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi slammed Mayawati for the rampant corruption in the state. Rahul Gandhi blamed the 22 years rule of the non-Congress Governments in the state for the pathetic living conditions and lack of developments in Uttar Pradesh.
Rahul Gandhi spoke at length of the various changes brought about by the Congress-led UPA government at the centre. He reminded that it was the Congress that ensured empowering rights to the people like MGNREGA, Right to Information, Right of Education and now is in the process of legislation of the Right to Food by providing food at subsidized rates for the poor. “By the food Security bill every poor family is assured 35 kg of food,” informed Rahul Gandhi.
In all his public meetings Rahul Gandhi underlined that if voted to power the Congress will bring in positive changes in Uttar Pradesh. The Congress MP from Amethi also reiterated that he has come not for elections but to change the state of affairs in Uttar Pradesh positively and bring back the state to the top position again.
