Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi stressed for the need to empower people with rights. "Earlier people spoke only of development, it is the Congress which pioneered the rights-based approach," said Rahul Gandhi. He was speaking at an event in which Malikana Haq (Ownership Rights) were given to residents of 45 resettlement colonies. The move will benefit as many as 15 lakh people.
