Rahul Gandhi: Post Office still important though we are in the era of Internet & Email.

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is on a two day visit to his parliamentary constituency Amethi. Addressing Congress workers he said, “There was a demand that Block Post Office should be brought here. Today we have got it.  Today it's the age of Email and Internet. But women and youth who are sitting here get benefited from Post Office as well. Want to say something about Amethi today. Here we are thinking of two three projects. Focus has to be on Vikas. There is one problem because of the UP government but whatever possible we can do from Delhi we are always doing that. We are going to focus on two crucial directions which would change Amethi for ever. Our priority is our farmers. If we progress, we are doing this because of our farmers. We are trying to bring in Food Parks here. Food Parks mean 40 Food Processing units. Processing units of Mint, Mangoes and Aanwala. The produce will directly go to these units directly. From there it would go abroad. Farmers would get more and more money directly in their account. Our intention is to directly transfer the money into your account. Women particularly should listen this more carefully. Aadhaar Card will help MGREGA money and Pension money reach directly into your account. Money which used to get vanished while reaching you because of corruption will stop. The food processing plant would give employment to lot of people here. And Amethi would become a centre of Agriculture in UP. Today, Mangoes of UP is being exported. It's being done once it reaches Delhi. I wish that our Mangoes and Aanwala gets exported directly from Raebareli and Amethi. And you would get benefited the most.
Further he said that Hindustan Paper mill is coming in Amethi very soon which would help in getting 10000 direct and indirect jobs. In the paper mill Bamboo and Eucalyptus is used. You all can grow these trees and directly sell this to the factory. We are trying to bring in change. We have a handicap that we don't have our state government. But in the days to come we will change Amethi completely. Whole of India will say that we also need the same development which Amethi has witnessed.
