Rahul Gandhi in UP urges people to free their hands and fight for positive changes in the state

Congress General Secretary RahulGandhi who headed the Congress campaign in Uttar Pradesh had said while addressing a Congress rally in Pratapgarh that he is in U.P not for elections but to transform the state. The Congress leader also said that he has no time to make toll promises but he wants to ensure development in the state. Congress does promise only one thing – a Government of aam aadmi, and we will deliver it, promised Rahul Gandhi.
“I am here not for elections but to bring in positive changes in U.P,” Rahul Gandhi reiterated. “You have the strength as well as the knowledge. You develop the states like Maharashtra, Delhi, Haryana and Punjab. You made big buildings in Mumbai. The shining metro in Delhi was built by you. Now let us develop U.P too,” said Rahul Gandhi.

“Your hands are tied now. Free your arms. The moment you do it, the state of U.P will surge ahead” declared the Congress General Secretary. “Your leaders do not come to you. They are not bothered about you,” Rahul Gandhi said.

“Uttar Pradesh needs a change and it is going to happen,” declared Rahul Gandhi. “You have wasted 22 years. Now you have a chance to change it. Support Congress and elect Congress candidates,” urged the Congress General Secretary.

“For the past seven years, I have been visiting various villages and interacting with poor farmers and workers. I have no time to make promises. I am here to support you and work for you,” said Rahul Gandhi.

“For the past 22 years, you have been hearing only promises. No one did anything for you. I will not leave you till the state of U.P stands on its own feet,” said Rahul Gandhi amidst cheers from the crowd.
