Rahul Gandhi: Common people want a Congress Government in UP

The common people in Uttar Pradesh, cutting across caste and community line, are now looking towards Congress (I)  for providing a stable and progressive government in the state, said Congress General Secretary RahulGandhi in Uttar Pradesh. The Congress leader while campaigning for Congress in UP also slammed Mayawati for troubles the people of UP have gone through under her corrupt government. People want Congress back.. This is the impression one gets all over the state, said Rahul Gandhi. Mayawati and Mulayam Singh Yadav have been ruling the state alternatively by playing caste-based vote bank politics ignoring the aam admi altogether, said Rahul Gandhi. The ordinary people are now frustrated with both of these leaders for befooling them all along.  Minority community has expressed dislike for BSP and SP because these parties have done nothing for the Muslim population, said Rahul Gandhi. Highlighting that for Mayawati Muslims are only hostages in her game of politics, Rahul Gandhi asked the people not to play into their tricks anymore.  The Congress MP from Amethi requested the people to support Congress (I) and promised that a government  by Congress (I) would put the state back on development and they will see the change in five years.
