Rahul Gandhi – the AICC General Secretary – reiterated that only Congress is committed to work for the entire section of the society including poor and aam aadmi.
Hitting out at parties like BSP, SP and BJP for rampant corruption and misrule in the state, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has said that his party will find solutions to the grievances of the poor and aam aadmi. Congress (I) is concerned for the ill-treatment towards the poor by the non-Congress parties in the past two decades. Due to corruption people are not getting employment, he said. The youth is perforce leaving their homes in search for jobs in other states, concerned Rahul Gandhi. In Maharashtra Shiv Sena workers are ill treating the people from UP. How long this will continue? Rahul Gandhi asked why the people cannot have jobs here in UP. This adverse situation has arisen because of the misrule of the non-Congress parties. If given chance this time, Rahul Gandhi promised that Congress (I) will change this situation within 5 years and in the next ten years Uttar Pradesh will be back to the top.
