Blaming BSP, SP and BJP for keeping the state mired in their vote bank politics of caste and religion, AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has said UP needs inclusive policies of Congress (I). “We do not talk of caste; we do not talk of religion either; we only talk of inclusive politics which focus on the entire people without discrimination of caste and religion and equally benefits all; we talk of progress of the people and development of the state which will benefit all equally,” said Rahul Gandhi while addressing public meetings in UP. While Congress (I) ruled states like Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Delhi and Haryana are fast developing, Uttar Pradesh under these parties has gone backward during the last 22 years, he said. These parties failed to provide even basic needs to the people like bijli, pani and sadak, he added. There are no employment opportunities, no good hospitals and no quality education either, said Rahul Gandhi. Highlighting that these parties have wasted 22 years of the people, Rahul Gandhi urged the people to give five years to Congress (I) this time. “We will show you what we can do in five years what these parties failed to do even in 22 years,” he said.
