Rahul Gandhi: Non-Congress parties do not have any positive agenda

Reacting to the statements of some leaders of non-Congress parties like BSP, SP and BJP for terming his visits to the houses of the poor as drama, Congress (I) General Secretary RahulGandhi said that these non-Congress leaders have neither any positive agenda nor any public issue to talk about. “I am not here to win elections. I am here to change Uttar Pradesh, said Rahul Gandhi while addressing various public meetings in Uttar Pradesh. ‘If going to the villages and mingling with the people to understand their problems are ‘a drama’, I am going to continue with this drama throughout my entire life,” declared Rahul Gandhi amidst cheers from the crowd. He claimed that these non-Congress leaders know nothing about the problems of the poor because they never go to them. He also slammed the opposition leaders who call him a kid and had no information about politics. Rahul Gandhi said that while Congress is sincerely working and attending the issues of the people, these non-Congress leaders are indulging in mocking and jeering others to divert the attention of people from the real issues. Rahul Gandhi urged the people to give a chance to Congress to form government and assured that it would work for the welfare of the people and transform the state.
