Lashing out against BSP and SP for the suffering undergone by the people especially youth over the last 22 years, Congress (I) general secretary Rahul Gandhi has assured that his party would generate employment opportunities for the youth. “The Congress will ensure that people of Uttar Pradesh, especially youths, do not have to migrate to other states for jobs,” said Rahul Gandhi while addressing a public meeting in Mainpuri on February 21 for the ongoing Assembly elections. There are no employment opportunities in the state. This is forcing the people to go to other states like Maharashtra, Delhi, Haryana to earn their livelihood, he added. The people of UP are hardworking, honest and talented; they only need opportunity to bring the same development here which they have brought in other states by their hard work, Rahul Gandhi further said. “We will create favorable condition in the state by generating employment opportunities for them,” he assured. Highlighting that BSP and SP have repeatedly failed to fulfill the aspirations of the people, Rahul Gandhi made a strong appeal to the people to vote for Congress (I) to bring development in their state. He assured that Congress (I) – a party of the people and youth – will create maximum opportunities for them within the state by launching number of development projects.
