Rahul Gandhi: Muslims in U.P got nothing in the past 22 years

For the past 22 years UP has been witnessing elections after every five years. But no development took place in the state. The parties SP, BJP and BSP never bothered about the people or the progress of the state said Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi while speaking at a big election rally in Ramabai Nagar in the poll bound Uttar Pradesh.
What did the Muslims in U.P get in the past 22 years? asked Rahul Gandhi while addressing an election rally in Ramabai Nagar (UP). It was Congress Government which implemented Sachar Committee recommendations, he said. Mulayam Singh Yadav never talked about reservation for Muslims when they were in power. But when Congress implemented it, he said that the percentage is inadequate said Rahul Gandhi.
Congress will ally only with the people of Uttar Pradesh and not with any parties, repeated Rahul Gandhi. He urged the people to support Congress and help it to form a Government for bringing back Uttar Pradesh to the path of progress.
