Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in Uttar Pradesh, 3 Feb. 2012 Part-2

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who is on a five-day campaign tour in the state of UIttar Pradesh addressed an election meeting at Musafirkhana. She will focus Amethi and Raebareli, the constituencies of Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Sonia Gandhi respectively.
Priyankla Gandhi asked ‘How can you go ahead like this?’ and continued “ I think the day you raise to the occasion, the day you understand what all rights you are having and realize your strength, then there will be an end to this kind of politics. Leaders of these opportunistic political parties come to you and make promises but the reality is that they betray you and make huge bungalows for them. The funds are being pocketed by them, indulge in corruption and spread anarchism. Who will put an end to such politics? You know that the strength to stop this is in your hands”.
Priyanka Gandhi then told the gathering “The chance to vote is a chance to bring in changes. The changes will have more influence on you than Rahul Ji. (Pointing to one person in the stage) He was telling me that this is the question of the prestige of my family. But this is not the pride of my family, but the question of the future of your children and the future your family. You always gave us respect and we earned honour by your affection. But now the time has come and I just want to tell you one thing, please stop suffering like this”.
