Priyanka Gandhi Vadra daughter of the Congress President and UPA Chair person Sonia Gandhi and the sister of Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi is campaigning for the Congress in Uttar Pradesh. He has been campaigning extensively in Amethi and Raebareli, the constituencies of her brother Rahul Gandhi and mother Sonia Gandhi respectively.
“In this election there is only one issue and that is the development” asserted Priyanka Gandhi and added “you know about the love and affection you extended to my family, from my father to Rahulji. Amethi is the karmabhoomi of Rajivji and now Rahul Gandhi represents you” she reminded. She urged the people to go to polling stations in full strength and vote Congress for the future of the region.
The present Government at the Centre brought out a lot of welfare policies for the poor. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi ensured that the people of Amethi and Raebareli are benefitted by these policies. But who brought these polices asked Priyanka. It was the people who brought out these changes. It is the strength of your votes that help development. So use this power correctly, she urged.”It is you who bring in or pull down a Government. It is you who help bringing good polices” she reminded. “So you should realize this tremendous strength in you and you should be conscious to use it properly”. She also thanked the people for the support extended to her, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi and Congress.
